Kingston School Library urges E-safety

A series of articles is being distributed to children and parents by The Kingston Community School Library giving advice on internet safety.

The articles have been produced by a group comprised of SA Police, CanDo4Kids from Townsend House, Catholic Education SA, Association of Independant Schools SA, Department of Education and Children's Services, School Care and the Public Libraries Association of SA.

The information is intended to urge children to be cautious while at the same time enjoy the good experiences available in the world of cyber space, as some call it.

It is easy to become complacent by the use of such terms as cyber space as if it is some magical place when in reality many unsavoury persons lay in wait as predators for the unwary.
